We know that a significant number of ownership transfers are handled independent of the traditional title company or property attorney. In the data world, we call these non-title transfers, and in most cases management companies are never informed of their existence.
These transfers create a number of problems for the community association industry. The REDs property monitoring systems provide insights into these transfers and all but eliminates the problems they cause. Percentages of non-title transfers vary per county and are provided in the graph below.
